To ensure proper fit, be sure to follow our handcrafted jewelry sizing instructions before ordering any of our Handcrafted Gemstone Jewelry or our Handcrafted Magnetite Jewelry that is to be worn as a bracelet, anklet or pet collar, or when making your own Neodymium Magnetic Jewelry.

All of our Handcrafted Gemstone and Magnetite Jewerly can vary by up to a 1/4 inch for the finished product. Provided you follow the sizing instructions below, this will not be an issue.

How to Obtain Bracelet Size

To ensure proper fit of bracelet when ordering our handcrafted gemstone or magnetic jewelry, be sure to follow these instructions:

1. Obtain Wrist Measurement
2. Add 1" To Measurement for Bracelet Size
3. Ordering A Handcrafted Bracelet
4. Handcrafted Bracelet Sizing

1. Obtain Wrist Measurement

To measure your wrist, wrap a cloth tape measure snug but not tight around your wrist above the wrist bone. If a cloth tape measure is not available, you can use string or dental floss, and then measure it with a ruler. This is your wrist measurement.

2. Add 1 Inch To Measurment for Bracelet Size

Take the wrist measurement you obtained by following the directions above. Add one inch (1") to your wrist measurement. This is your bracelet size.

3. Ordering A Handcrafted Bracelet

Order a bracelet that matches your bracelet size obtained by following the directions above. If your bracelet size does not match a quarter-inch (1/4") increment, round up to the next quarter-inch (1/4") increment.

Example: Say your wrist measurement is 6 5/8". After adding 1" the length is 7 5/8". If that size is not available, round up to the next quarter-inch (1/4") increment. In this example that would be 7 3/4". This is the size of jewelry to order. Be sure to round up!

Handcrafted Bracelet Sizing

Our bracelets are sized in quarter inch (1/4") increments. Our handcrafted bracelets run 6 inches to 8 3/4 inches. If you require a larger size, order an anklet.

How to Ensure Correct Bracelet Size

When shopping for gemstone or magnetic bead bracelet jewelry made with a magnetic clasp, here are some tips to help you ensure you are selecting the correct bracelet size.

Sizing Test #1:
When trying on the bracelet, place your index finger between the bracelet and your wrist to see how much room you have. You want to be able to do this without the bracelet getting too tight. You also don't want the bracelet to be too loose, a little bit of extra space is okay.

Our bodies aren't as symmetrical as we'd like to think, so be sure to do this with whichever wrist you plan to wear the bracelet on, or both if you might wear the bracelet on both wrists.

Sizing Test #2:
With the bracelet on your wrist bend at the elbow and hold your hand up. Make a fist and bend your wrist forward, flexing your wrist all the way, 90 degrees. This will tighten the bracelet on your wrist. When you do this, check to see that each side of the magnetic clasp is still touching each other and holding it's connection in place to prevent the bracelet from falling off.

If the bracelet gets snug, but the magnetic clasp is still connecting the bracelet is a good fit. If the bracelet is fairly loose, you may want to consider a smaller size. Some people like to wearing their bracelet a bit looser than others, so there is a bit of personal preference here. The main thing is to ensure that your bracelet does not get too tight, so that you don't risk it falling off when you are moving around.

1. Obtain Ankle Measurement

To measure your ankle, wrap a cloth tape measure snug but not tight around your ankle above the ankle bone. If a cloth tape measure is not available, you can use string or dental floss, and then measure it with a ruler. This is your ankle measurement.

2. Add 1" To Ankle Measurement for Anklet Size

Take the ankle measurement you obtained by following the directions above. Add one inch (1") to ankle measurement. This is your anklet size.

3. Ordering A Handcrafted Anklet

Order an anklet that matches your anklet size obtained by following the directions above. If your anklet size does not match a quarter-inch (1/4") increment, round up to the next quarter-inch (1/4") increment.

Example: Say your ankle measurement is 9 5/8". After adding 1" the length is 10 5/8". If that size is not available, round up to the next 1/4" increment. In this example that would be 10 3/4". This is the size of jewelry to order. Be sure to round up!

4. Handcrafted Anklet Sizing

Our anklets are sized in quarter inch (1/4") increments. Our handcrafted anklets run 9 inches to 12 inches. If you require a smaller size, order a bracelet. If you require a larger size, contact us to place a custom order.
