My Favorite Massage Tables

My Favorite Massage Tables | Access Possibilities Blog

Are you looking to purchase your own massage table? If this is your first massage table purchase, you may not know what to look for or what features will make your job easier. I have owned several different massage tables over the years, and I have two different favorites, depending on my use.

Four main features I find very important when selecting a massage table:

  1. The first feature I look at is the weight capacity of the table. I prefer a sturdy table that I can use with all my clients.
  2. The second feature I prefer is an extra wide massage table. This helps to ensure my clients will have room to rest their arms on the table when they lie down. It also gives me room to rest my arms on the table as I work, especially when I am running Access Body Processes.
  3. The third feature I look for when selecting a table is a thick cushioned table. I want to be sure my clients are comfortable, and since I also receive body work on my table, I want to be sure my body is comfortable!
  4. The fourth feature I look for is a Reiki panel. The Reiki Panel allows me to place my legs under the table so that I can get closer to my client thereby preventing arm strain from reaching too far.

I look at other features as well, but these are probably the most crucial to my liking a table. Both massage tables here have these features. I own them both and they have served me well over the years and continue to do so.

The Master Massage 31" Montclair Professional Portable Table is my favorite massage table with a wood frame. This table works perfectly for many applications beyond massages, such as running Access Bars, Access Energetic Facelift and Access Body Processes.

When I travel I prefer to take along an even lighter table, my Master Massage 30" StratoMaster LX Ultra Light Weight Aluminum Portable Massage Table. This table is 12 pounds lighter than my table with the wood frame.

Here's a quick overview of the main features for each table. When selecting a massage table be sure to pay attention to the different colors, features and options that are available, as they might change as you select different options.
