Why I Prefer Magnetic Therapy Jewelry Over Other Magnetic Devices
Posted by Julie D. Mayo
In this post I'll cover why I prefer magnetic therapy jewelry over other magnetic devices.
Wearing magnetic therapy jewelry is one of the simplest ways to benefit from Magnetic Therapy. A static magnetic field increases circulation, reduces swelling and inflammation, decreases pain, offers protection from electromagnetic radiation, and facilitates the body to balance and self-heal.
There are many different types of medical devices available that can be used to provide the body with a therapeutic static magnetic field, which is the target of Magnetic Therapy.
Magnetic Braces
Magnetic braces are usually designed to fit a particular body part, such as your hand, knee, ankle, back or shoulder. Some braces have magnets sewn into them, while others have small slots or pockets available for you to slip magnets into. These braces tend to be a bit bulky and somewhat uncomfortable. They often lend to the body perspiring underneath, especially in a warmer climate or during summer months. Most magnetic braces cannot be washed without falling apart. Often times the user will stop wearing the brace, due to the discomfort.
Block Magnets
Large block magnets are also available. Individuals don't typically purchase their own block magnet, so they tend to visit a practitioner that can apply a block magnet to a particular body part. This can be more costly and involve trips to and from the practitioner’s office. With our busy lifestyles, scheduling can become an issue. Even if you do own your own block magnet, you have to sit still while it is being applied. And depending where on your body the magnet needs to be placed, this can be uncomfortable.
Spot Magnets with Adhesive Bandages
Spot magnets, sometimes referred to as dot magnets, come with small adhesive bandages that can be placed most anywhere on the body. The draw back here is that some people are sensitive to the adhesive. Also, you have to be careful not to get the bandages wet.
Magnetic Jewelry
Magnetic jewelry is affordable, attractive, allows you to be mobile, and can be worn during the day, while sleeping or both. There are many types of magnetic jewelry to choose from. Bipolar, unipolar, Magnetite bead jewelry, stainless steel or titanium link magnetic jewelry are only a few of the many options that are available.
Magnetic Therapy Jewelry Benefits
There are many reasons why I prefer wearing magnetic jewelry and recommend it to others.
One of the things I love about magnetic therapy jewelry is that it can be worn all the time, even while a person is sleeping. It’s important to remember that the longer the body is exposed to a static magnetic field, the more the body will reap the benefits and begin to heal. Wearing magnetic jewelry is a very simple way to address the symptoms of magnetic field deficiency.
Magnetic therapy jewelry has come a long way. Today, it is both comfortable and attractive. People usually aren't even aware of the fact that you are wearing therapeutic jewelry. There are many types available and many styles to choose from. Magnetic jewelry is also very affordable. And remember, magnets don’t come with any unwanted side effects.
Over the years, I've had a lot of people come into my shop looking for natural pain relief. For those complaining of back pain, I will usually recommend a necklace. Occasionally, someone will tell me that they don’t really care for wearing jewelry, not even a necklace. I tend to hear this more often from men than women. Most of them, so fed up with being in pain all of the time and not having found anything that works to relieve it, usually end up giving a necklace a try. It’s amazing how many of them contact me later, elated that their back pain is gone. Often, they go on to tell me that they love wearing their necklace, and are very proud of all the compliments that they get.
One of the first questions people typically ask me is, "how much magnetism or pieces of jewelry do I need?" It's impossible to know how much magnetism is required for a particular issue to resolve or for the body to balance and self-heal. In the beginning of my research, I had the point of view that it would take a lot. However, I quickly discovered that people (myself included) experienced great results from simply wearing a magnetic bracelet, anklet or necklace.
There are many different types of magnetic jewelry to choose from, all of which offer therapeutic benefits - Magnetite magnetic jewelry, magnetic stainless steel or titanium link jewelry, and neodymium jewelry, just to name a few.
When you give the body what it needs it has the ability to balance and self-heal. Wearing magnetic jewelry is a natural holistic therapy that facilitates the body to balance, self-heal and can assist you to obtain holistic health.
